3.4 Liter Engines: This engine was also referred to as the Vortec 3400 engine. It was a Chevy 3.4-liter V6 engine that was for sale in many General Motors (GM) models in 1991 and all the way up to 2010. 

• LQ1 - This engine was also referred to as Chevy’s twin dual cam engine. The engine was only built for transverse applications and produced approximately 210 hp. This engine was for sale in the Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevrolet Lumina, and Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
• LA1 - This 3.4 Chevrolet engine for sale was produced as a 2002-2005 Buick Rendezvous engine, 1999-2004 Oldsmobile Alero engine, 1996-2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette engine, 2001-2005 Pontiac Aztek engine, 1999-2005 Pontiac Grand Am engine, 1999-2005 Pontiac Montana engine, 1996-1998 Pontiac Trans Sport engine, 2000-2005 Chevrolet Impala engine, 2000-2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo engine, and 1997-2005 Chevrolet Venture This engine was essentially a bored out version of the L82 and made between 170-185 hp.
• LNJ - This is an updated version of the Vortec 3400 engine which featured a new intake manifold, engine cover, fuel system, and even a new block.. This engine also received a new electronic throttle control. This 3.4 General Motors engine was put into the 2005-2009 Chevrolet Equinox and the 2006-2009 Pontiac Torrent.
