ABOUT REMAN ENGINE
3.5 Liter Engines: Nissan’s 3.5-liter engines were used for nearly two decades in their line of production vehicles and pretty much all of them, besides a couple performance race engines, fell into the VQ engine class.
- VQ35DE This engine is used in quite a few modern Nissan vehicles. It produces 228 to 300 horsepower and 246 to 274 lb-ft of torque depending on the application. This Nissan 3.5 V6 engine has undergone many updates over the years. It comes with forged steel connecting rods as well as variable valve timing (VVT) on the intake side. It was used in the 2001-2004 Nissan Pathfinder, 2013-2016 Nissan Pathfinder, 2001-2003 Infiniti QX4, 2001-2004 Infiniti I35, 2002-2018 Nissan Altima, 2002-present Nissan Maxima, 2002-2006 Nissan 350Z, 2002-2007 Infiniti G35 (sedan and coupe), 2002-2008 Infiniti FX35, 2002-present Nissan Murano, 2003-2016 Nissan Quest, 2012-2013 Infiniti JX35, 2004-2008 Infiniti M35, and the 2013-2016 Infiniti QX60.
- VQ35HR This is a new and improved version of the 3.5-liter Nissan VQ motor where the HR stands for High Revolution or High Revving because of its increased rev limit to 7600rpm. This engine, although it is very similar to the VQ35DE motor, has over 80% of the internal components redesigned and strengthened to handle the extra revving. In addition, the block deck was raised along with the connecting rod length increased. This engine produced approximately 313 hp and was featured in the 2007-2008 Infiniti G35, 2007-2008 Nissan 350Z, 2008-2012 Infiniti FX35, 2009-2010 Infiniti M35, 2014-present Infiniti Q50 Hybrid, and the 2014-2019 Infiniti Q70
