(455 CID) 7.5 Liter Engines: General Motors (GM) only ever produced one 7.5-liter big block engine and that came from the Oldsmobile branch of GM. The Oldsmobile 455 cubic inch big block engine was an icon and remained in production for nearly a decade. It should be noted that the Oldsmobile 455 engine is also referred to as the Rocket 455 engine.

The Rocket 455 engine was used in the Oldsmobile Cutlass, Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser, Oldsmobile 4-4-2, Oldsmobile Hurst/ Olds, Oldsmobile Delta 88, Oldsmobile Toronado, and the GMC Motorhome.
