ABOUT REMAN ENGINE
6.7-Liter Engines: The introduction of the 6.7 Cummins engine was a bold move to take by Chrysler Motor Corporation, considering the amount of following that the 5.9 Cummins had already received, it seemed like it could almost be a mistake to switch it up at that time. However, the 6.7 Cummins engine has been just as big or more of a hit on the market as its predecessor, the 5.9. The 6.7-liter inline 6-cylinder Cummins turbo diesel engine was first introduced into the production lineup halfway through the 2007 model year and the 6.7 Dodge engine is still in production to this day. It should be noted that this is the largest displacement inline 6-cylinder engine produced for light-duty trucks.
- 6.7 ISB Cummins - The ISB 6.7 Cummins engine had many upgrades over its predecessor including an increase in bore diameter and stroke to achieve its 6.7-liter engine size, the addition of a Holset variable geometry turbo (VGT), a common rail high-pressure direct injection fuel system with 7-hole injectors, and a diesel particulate filter (DPF) for emissions regulations purposes. The 6.7 Cummins engine is for sale in the late model 2007-present Dodge Ram 2500 pickup and 2007-present Dodge Ram 3500 pickup as well as heavy-duty Dodge fleet vehicles. The 6.7 Cummins was rated at approximately 400 hp with a massive 650lb-ft of torque in most trucks.
